Sherlock Holmes and Batman...Best Team-up EVER?
Hey, they made Road to Avonlea into a graphic novel?
Oh, it's just Helena with a really weird updo.
Does...does this mean that Batman and Sherlock Holmes exist in the same universe? THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME DISCOVERY OF ALL TIME.
The thing I love a lot about the Blue Beetle is that he's a very realistic character. Like Batman, he has no powers and just relies on his intelligence. Even though Batman has no powers, he still seems like a superpowered character anyway. He's nigh invincible, has the respect of everyone, has basically zero weaknesses, and is arguably one of the most powerful people in the DCU. Beetle, on the other hand, struggles with his weight and the weaknesses that comes with age. In the original 1980s run of Blue Beetle, he's seen having trouble taking down FIREFIST, THE INCENDIARY MAN. He's a real person with real weaknesses. In Birds of Prey, he finds out that he has a heart condition. He deals with real health problems that come from the stressful job of being a superhero. In the DCU, surrounded by Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, it's a breath of fresh air to have a hero who is not as capable as he needs to be but still tries his best.
